Benefits of BERGER Házak
Environmental awareness is an important concept in today’s developing world, which is why BERGER Házak pays special attention to it. During production, we use custom-made building boards and vapour barrier films with great care, thus minimizing the amount of waste generated.
Thanks to our blown insulation, we can produce walls even without any generation of waste. There is no release film on our adhesives, thus reducing the amount of waste generated.
Since most of the materials used are naturally occurring materials such as wood or gypsum, our waste generated can also be recycled. We use natural, eco-friendly materials which are predominantly recyclable, thus the ecological footprint of our buildings is minimal.
At our plant in Polgár, 13 employees are currently involved in the production process. With this number of staff, we have the opportunity to prepare 80 buildings of 100 m2 annually, which means that we can construct the wall structures and roof elements for our customers from the materials used in 3 days. The total annual capacity of our plant is 300 buildings.
Behind the entire process of production and construction of Berger Házak is a professional and motivated team who always perform the tasks entrusted to them with the utmost attention and precision. We provide ongoing professional training for new and existing colleagues, and invite our suppliers to participate in annual professional training courses.
The production process takes place under controlled factory conditions throughout, so we can produce high-quality structures at our plant. Our independent quality control department is actively involved in inspecting the components completed during production to ensure that they meet our high quality standards and the expectations of our clients. The inspection process begins before the start of production, for the raw materials supplied and to be used.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PREFABRICATED HOUSE TECHNOLOGY?
Be it a house prepared with on-site installation or a prefabricated, large-panel prefabricated house, in Western countries, the majority of family house construction projects are carried out with prefabricated house technology. In the past few years, 40% of family houses in Austria and 60% of family houses in Switzerland have been built with such technology. Not to mention the US, where that value is 90%; although their lightweight construction is by no means to be confused with prefabricated systems. The “winds” of this change have reached us in recent years, too. The reason for this is that we can read more and more comparative analyses also in Hungary regarding light-structured and traditional (brick, frame ceramic, other small-element) construction technologies.
In Hungary, the number of builders opting for prefabricated technology has increased more than fivefold in recent years. On a percentage basis, this represents around 15-20% of family house construction in Hungary.
